S&P revises outlook on several Russian companies to positive

MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- International rating agency S&P Global Ratings has revised its outlook for a number of Russian companies to positive from stable, the agency said late Tuesday.

The outlook changes were applied to oil major Lukoil, gas giant Gazprom, oil major Rosneft, Russian Railways, mobile operator MTS, TNK-BP International, oil pipeline monopoly Transneft, oil major Gazprom Neft, the Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy Systems (FGC UES), mobile operator MegaFon, nuclear power company Atomenergoprom, power company Rosseti, the Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending (AIZhK), Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK), and the Center Interregional Distribution Grid Company (Center IDGC).

Earlier in March, S&P improved its outlook on Russia’s sovereign rating, currently at BB+, to positive from stable.
